I think the most beautiful part of a photographer’s job is diversity. In the past ten years I traveled to places and photographed things that had previously been unreachable for me.
Italy and the cars made there are beautiful and exciting, the first gallery proves this beyond doubt. In the countries of the former Eastern Bloc cars were about a completely different story: in the conditions of a shortage economy one had to wait in queue for many years to get the chance to buy a car. In spite of this, interesting vehicles were made in the socialist countries as well, and many of them have become real cult objects. The Velodrom Millenáris is perhaps the most popular classic car event in Central Europe, that will hopefully gain even more attention in the coming years. The same is true of the classics of the future, cars in the 20-25 years age category.
